I wish the average person was smart enough to realize they can turn their phone sideways when using the camera and get a better result. The phone-first social media apps aren't helping (of course) by pushing and rewarding videos in that vertical format. The triple split screen for showing the awkward portrait mode cellphone cameras is really difficult to watch though. It's really hard to see what's going on, even when trying to focus on just one. I wish the average person was smart enough to realize they can turn their phone sideways when using the camera and get a better result. The phone-first social media apps aren't helping (of course) by pushing and rewarding videos in that vertical format. We naturally see in landscape mode, and while portrait mode is sometimes more appropriate for images and video, for recording things like these videos it not the best orientation to be using. Unfortunately, most phone camera users seemingly are not smart enough to figure it out and turn their phone sideways to video. So, we have to work with what we have. But showing the 3 identical videos in a triptych really does not work either, IMO.
