I wish the average person was smart enough to realize they can turn their phone sideways when using the camera and get a better result. The phone-first social media apps aren't helping (of course) by pushing and rewarding videos in that vertical format. We naturally see in landscape mode, and while portrait mode is sometimes more appropriate for images and video, for recording things like these videos it not the best orientation to be using. Unfortunately, most phone camera users seemingly are not smart enough to figure it out and turn their phone sideways to video. So, we have to work with what we have. Evil takes no prisoners and we are seeing that play out daily at this point. That fricking lithium would be the prize for killing/displacing thousands of people should not be a surprise. Its always about the land.
Look at Americas history of what we did to the natives living here. Same playbook now.
I am encouraged to see so much light being shined on this heartbreaking situation. The callous disregard for human life has been growing much stronger. Ask any human from Palestine-they can tell you horror stories and that horror is entering Lebanon now and soon the world if the warmongers have their way.
America is the last bastion of any sort of freedom and we will have to fight to keep any of it.

Good reporting Greg, the Lithium in Kings Mountain is new to me.
The triple split screen for showing the awkward portrait mode cellphone cameras is really difficult to watch though. It's really hard to see what's going on, even when trying to focus on just one. I wish the average person was smart enough to realize they can turn their phone sideways when using the camera and get a better result. The phone-first social media apps aren't helping (of course) by pushing and rewarding videos in that vertical format. We naturally see in landscape mode, and while portrait mode is sometimes more appropriate for images and video, for recording things like these videos it not the best orientation to be using. Unfortunately, most phone camera users seemingly are not smart enough to figure it out and turn their phone sideways to video. So, we have to work with what we have. But showing the 3 identical videos in a triptych really does not work either, IMO.
